ViVE Video Converter was created for Mac users who need to convert their favorite clips to various media formats. The application supports batch conversion, lets you choose from a wide variety of output profiles, and gives you access to simple-to-configure output settings.
As you can read on the homepage of the developer, this utility supports multiple types of video formats when it comes to importing clips. Plus, the output profiles are compatible with a wide range of media devices, such as iPads, Windows mobile phones, Android tablets, iPhones, and many others.
However, when it comes to efficiency, ViVE Video Converter fails miserably. For starters, it occasionally freezes when configuring the output settings and might take a while to convert the input files to the selected formats. Moreover, the app doesn't let you choose individual output profiles when batch converting videos.
Another thing I didn't like at all was its interface, to be more exact, the appearance of the main window of the app. I'm curious if the developers copied this app from iToolsoft (a company that's no longer operative) as its logo appears on the main window of the program.
With that being said, you should look for other video converters for your Mac. This application comes with many important flaws and I can't find any reason why you should spend your money on a tool that works this bad.
