Virtual Radar is an open-source application that can plot aircraft on Google Maps. The program can be installed on a local web server; you can access its features using a web browser. Virtual Radar also has the ability to show the location of a simulated aircraft being flown in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. To track real aircafts, you need a radio that is capable of receiving Mode-S transmissions.

Fixed: BaseStation format receivers can no longer fill memory.
Fixed: Removing a rebroadcast server now removes it from the main screen.
Added: The web site settings can now be exported and imported. Exported settings can be saved on the server to use as defaults for all new visitors to the site.
Added: Receiver ranges are now saved between sessions.
Added: Rebroadcast servers can now push a feed to a single IP address.
Added: Access to receivers and rebroadcast servers can now be whitelisted and blacklisted.
Added: Users that choose to make their VRS site accessible from the Internet can now opt into a directory of public VRS sites.
