Videora iPhone Converter is a free H.264 and MPEG-4 video converter. It was designed to let you convert video files from the most popular video formats into the aforementioned formats, which the iPhone plays natively. The converter uses an HTML-based wizard that guides the user on the different steps of the conversion process. There are two different modes. One is for beginner users and the other for more advanced users who know about video conversion.
For the beginner user, you first have to add the files that you want to convert and then you are shown a bunch of sliders that you have to move to select the different quality options. Once you do that, the file is added to the queue and it starts converting. There isn't much room for customization other than choosing the format (directly or indirectly) and the video quality.
In my testing, I had no problems converting DivX and MKV files into H.264 files. The process was smooth and, rather, quick.
The only problem that I found with this app is that the instructions are all for the Windows version of the converter.
