Video Cutter does as its name says: it lets you cut videos into smaller fragments. This comes in handy when you want to extract specific shorter fragments from larger video files and save them separately to new files, or when you want to remove a specific unwanted segment from a video, like in the case of deleting advertisements from video recordings.
Video Cutter is very neat, lightweight and simple. It's a little too simple, I'd say. Except for the basic tools needed for the video cutting tasks, there are absolutely no other additional features or advanced settings. The users can't even change the parameters of the output files, so these files will always have the same bit rate, codec or frame rate as the original, input videos. Though very easy to use and straightforward, the interface cannot be customized and looks a bit outdated. On the other hand, this video splitting utility supports a large variety of video file formats, including popular ones like AVI, MP4, MPG, FLV, MOV, and even DVD VOB files.
Considering that it's also free, I believe Video Cutter is worth a try, as it can get its job properly done even if it lacks secondary features and functions.
