It is a very simple checkers game for the Mac. vCheckers is a strategy game in which two opponents, with pieces of different colors, battle each other. The objective is to eliminate all your opponent's pieces from the board. The pieces can only be moved diagonally and forward. And you have one move per turn when your piece doesn't make a non-capturing move. The only way to eliminate a piece is to jump over it. This can only happen when there is an open square behind the piece you want to capture. When you are making a capturing move, and more than one jump can be done, you may make more than one move.
You can download the Lite version from the Mac App Store if you want to try the game before you buy it. In the Lite version, you can only play against a a person. You can take turns with somebody to play on the same computer. The paid version lets you play against a computer as well. The game keeps statistics of your games, but you can erase them if you want. You are also given hints when a capture can be attempted.
This is a good checkers game that you can use to play against friends and the computer and it looks nice.
