URLfriend is a browser extension that allows users to open any URL in any browser, instantly switch between browsers, and keep detailed notes on each URL. It also generates a clickable list of categories, showing the number of URLs in each category, as well as sublists of each URL. Additionally, it enables users to update outdated URLs without losing the original, which is useful for archival search in the Wayback Machine. URLfriend can also create cross-referenced links between duplicate or separate URL cards, and can be sorted by title, URL, and category.
