Gain access to data archives and digital disk images to extract, save, relocate and otherwise manage their content. Select the files you wish to export or batch-unpack the entire archive into the designated folder. The utility supports such formats as IN, DAA, ISO, RAR, RAR, etc.

UnpackX is a little Mac application that will let you unpack disc images and file archives into folders. The supported formats are 7Z, MSI, BIN, DAA, ISO, RAR, RAR parts. As for 7Z, DAA and RAR (not RAR parts), UnpackX can work on password-protected files.

UnpackX is very simple to use. If you have disc images to convert into folders, explore the drop-down menu below the orange drop box. If you have RAR archives to unpack, then open the drop-down menu below the blue drop box and choose an action. Or explore the drop-down menu below the green drop box if you have 7zip archives to unpack. After setting the export destination folder and the folder name, then simply drop and drop a disc image or a file archive onto the drop box above.

System requirements: Mac OS X 10.6.6 ~ 10.6.8, 10.7.x, 10.8.x

v1.0 [Jul 15, 2013]
- Change: The application prevents the user from adding an extension or a period to the folder name. When the user types a period, the folder name will revert to the default name.
- In order to enhance its stability, the application stores user preferences in an encrypted database. Users have to work on Preferences settings all over again by opening Preferences. We apologize to existing users for the change.
- The user can now unpack archives under the 3rd format (green) that have the extension of MSI.
