UniPDF can convert PDF documents into Word documents, images, plain text and HTML. The tool has an attractive design. Fortunately, it supports batch conversion and you can add files to the list by dropping them onto the application’s interface. Although the program is very intuitive and you can use it right away, the help documentation is regrettably missing.
In general, UniPDF works without problems, but I think that it has more limitations than advantages. Firstly, the range of output formats is definitely too restricted. Other widely used formats, as DOCX, XLS and XLSX, are not supported. Secondly, using the program to convert PDF to Word formats may be absolutely unnecessary if you already use a recent version of Microsoft Office, which allows opening and saving in PDF. Thirdly, it can convert only in one-way direction, since creating a PDF from other files is not supported.
All in all, UniPDF is appropriate for simple PDF conversion needs and has the advantage of being absolutely free for non-commercial purposes. However, you should know that there are many more sophisticated tools of similar type.
