Typing Tots is a Mac program designed to help kids practice their typing skills. The application features an intuitive, colorful interface, lets you choose between three types of practice styles, keeps track of your best time records, and provides you with a built-in help guide.
You can practice typing letters, words, and sentences. Once you finish typing the term or sentence, you need to click the check mark symbol in order to submit your answer. It would be a lot easier if you could add your response by hitting the Enter key.
Personally, I don't think it's worth installing this free application on your Mac. The first thing that bothered me while testing this program was the fact that many words and sentences are repeated.
Another disadvantage is that the utility occasionally fails to change between practice modes. This usually happens when opting for another practice type from the main menu window of the app.
Cutting a long story short, I think you can find better solutions for helping your kids to practice their typing skills. Even though this program is free of charge, I still wouldn't recommend you to install it on your Mac.
