TRU-Install is a Sierra Wireless feature that offers plug-and-play software installation, eliminating the need for a separate installation disc.
The first time you insert your AirCard modem into your computer, it will detect that software installation is required and automatically install the software and drivers. On subsequent insertions, the connection software will be detected and installation will not be required.
The TRU-Install feature means that installation is simpler and hassle-free. You do not need to have a CD or DVD drive on your computer, nor do you need an installation disc whenever you wish to install (or re-install) the connection software and drivers on a computer.
