“Tri Peaks 2: Quest for the Ruby Ring” is the second edition of the series. For those who know the previous edition is good to mention that they won’t find too many changes in this new one, but a slight change in the interface style. Once again, the solitaire follows the story of a couple in the quest for this supposedly cursed ruby. Since a solitaire game, simple in rules as this one, can be boring by its own, Tri Peaks 2 incorporates a story to the game. That way, you won’t be just playing a cards game by you will be participating in an adventure. Regarding the solitaire specifically, here’s a brief explanation of how it works.

The goal of the solitaire is to clear all the cards from a certain layout. To do that you have to click on cards that are one number higher or one number lower than the card in the foundation pile. When a card is cleared that way it will be brought to the foundation pile, so you can plan ahead your movements. As you remove cards from the playing field, other cards become freed and available. When you are out of moves you can draw cards from the pile. In order to win the level you need to clear all the cards on the board. There are some power ups to take into consideration. Let’s take a look to the following list:

- The Amazonian Wild card: you can play any other card on this card.

- The Re-Deal Card: use this to reshuffle your foundation pile to keep playing.

- The Bonus Charm Card: this will entice the multiplier creature to climb higher.

- The Face-Up Deal: all cards will appear face-up on the next deal.
