Trend Micro AntiVirus 2009 + Antispyware is a protection tool essential to keep your system secure from threats. Keep safe your files and data with automatic scans, updates, prevent unauthorized changes, and outbreak alerts. Staying up-to-date will help you stay away from latest malware: viruses, worms, Trojan programs, and spyware.
Powered by the PC-calling Internet security engine, runs smoothly and will not affect the computer's performance. It is an application easy to configure. Scanning and updating are simple just clicking a button or on the main console of the program. Files are quarantined rather than immediately deleting, to avoid loses.
This Antivirus is economic and simple unlike Trend Micro Internet security. Thus it does NOT contain features like: email spam block, stop malicious downloads, authenticate wireless hotspots, restrict Internet access by specific categories, time or duration or for underage.
As for customer support it has one of the best but unfortunately limited to North America; offering ticket-based-support as well as live chat and phone support.
Trend Micro also has knowledge base that is useful for finding solutions to threat problems.
