TransformMovie is a video editor designed for Mac users who need to immediately rotate, crop, and trim their homemade movies. The application supports drag-and-drop actions and batch processing, preserves the quality of the original videos, and doesn't slow down the performance of your system while generating the output files.
Before importing any videos you need to configure the output settings according to your needs. As soon as you drag-and-drop a file over the app's interface, the program automatically starts generating the output file. You can crop, trim, and rotate your clips.
In my testing, the app edited 2 files (MP4 and 3GP formats) and exported the movies to the selected destination folder. The quality was preserved and I didn't wait long for the results to be generated.
However, I noticed that that app is quite limited. For starters, it cannot import SWF, WEBM or MKV files. Furthermore, the program lacks options to select different output formats. It exports the edited files with the same extension as the original movies.
Another disadvantage is that the utility lacks an integrated video player which might prove to be of good use when configuring the output settings. Also, it's missing the options to attach subtitles to the input movies or to watermark clips.
In conclusion, you can find better solutions for editing your homemade movies. This app comes with many flaws.
