TransApp is a small application that is claimed to translate texts for you. To use the application, you need to have an account on the translationbooth.com website, the so-called quick translation service. Having the account on the site, you are able to add a text, choose a translator (native, non-native speaker) and get your text translated for money. The developers claim that you will receive the results very soon for little money.
TransApp has a simple clear interface. You are offered to add a text to translate, select the language, and click on the 'Translate' button to receive the results. The program is claimed to translate texts for you for free. But, really, it can hardly translate a word for you. To make sure of that, you can either register an account on translationbooth.com, download the application and test it (which I would not recommend doing), or simply look at the 'translated sentence' screenshot which I made when testing the tool. The tests were numerous, and, unfortunately, none of them was successful. Probably, this is the way the developers nudge you into using the paid service: and for this purpose they've also added to the program's interface the 'Find a translator' button, clicking on which redirects you to the site.
Well, I would hardly ever use their service after testing the application, because I am feeling absolutely done. At least one fact is true, the application is free. But who knows what will they translate for you for money.
