Total Extractor is an app for extracting the contents of compressed archives, such as zip files. Supports a huge range of compressed archive file formats.
Total Extractor does pretty much what you'd expect an archive extractor to do. It supports a decent amount of archive file formats, including all the main ones, such as ZIP, RAR, and 7Z. It also supports disc image files, such as BIN and ISO. Extracting can be as simple as double clicking, and password protected archives are covered (though you still need the password, of course).
Unfortunately, Total Extractor offers little in the way of incentives to pay the (admittedly modest) cost of the app. Other apps offer the same functionality for free. Indeed, this app has been accused of being a repackage of a similar app called The Unarchiver. In addition to that, the settings of the app cannot be changed, and there seems to be some issue extracting certain files, such as EXE files. All in all, it's hard to recommend anyone pay for this app over any free alternatives.
