Tooltips are elements that appear when the mouse hovers over a taskbar item, in order to show more information about it. The taskbar of Microsoft Windows 95 has a bug that shows the "tooltip" behind it causing it to be partially hidden behind the toolbar instead of staying on top of it. This annoying bug is, in fact, found in all later Microsoft Windows versions, such as 98, Millennium (ME), 2000, 2002 and XP. This bug is not seen only in the latest Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7.

ToolTipFixer is a patch that efficiently fixes this bug once and for all. The program can run as a regular executable or as a service, and this can be set during the program's setup. Unlike older versions, this new version of the program eliminates the need for the .NET framework run-time to be installed, which could take a lot of time to download and occupied a lot of disk space. The program consumes a very low amount of memory and doesn't crash. Don't worry about setting advanced options, as the program doesn't require any technical experience. The program automatically starts along with Windows itself.
