Tipard FLV to Audio Converter for Mac is a commercial converter. It can be used to convert FLV files to audio files, so that you can then play them on mobile playback devices such as the iPod, iPhone, and a variety of other devices. Quite a few different audio formats are supported, including MP3, WAV, AAC, AIFF, M4A and AC3, among others.
Graphically, the app resembles all the other video converters by Tipard. It has a very nice graphical user interface. There is a video player that lets you play your video files, some space for files to be added to the queue and the conversion settings at the bottom.
Tipard FLV to Audio Converter for Mac comes with a nice video editor. It is the same editor that comes with the other Tipard converters, but, obviously, not all the features are available, since this converter deals with audio files. With it, you can trim your video to select the area of it that you want to convert and you can reduce or increase the volume.
All in all this app works very well. It is a nice tool to have if you download FLV files from YouTube and want to listen to them on the go.
