Tipard DVD Software Toolkit for Mac is a very complete software suite. It includes five different applications that separately would cost over $150. So, a lot of money can be saved, if you buy this suite instead. Moreover, even two of the applications will cost the same or more than buying the suite, so if you are considering purchasing a few of these, then you might as well buy the entire pack.
The applications included are DVD Ripper for Mac, Mac Video Converter, Mac iPod Transfer Pro and iPhone Ringtone Maker for Mac, and DVD Cloner 6 for Mac. They basically let you convert video files into different formats, rip DVD movies into video files that you can play on your Mac or other devices, manage your iOS devices and transfer files to and from them, create ringtones for your phones, and duplicate DVD movies.
When you run the toolkit, you will be welcomed by a launcher, which lets you access all the included applications. Unlike other suites or toolkits, this one doesn't limit the number of apps that you can run at the same time.
I found that all the applications have nice interfaces that are easy to navigate. I tested the video converter and the DVD ripper, and they both performed well. Format support was good and the conversion speed was on par with the competition.
