TimePreserver Lite is intended to back up your personal data, applications and files. In this regard, the tool integrates seamlessly by allowing you to archive Time Capsule in the desired location. The tool creates archives that the macOS installer can use directly to rescue your system from a possible crash. Similarly, you can choose specific files you want to recover.

There is nothing complicated about using TimePreserver Lite. The application can search for Time Capsules on the network, and you can choose the one you want from a list. The second step includes selecting a destination drive. Fortunately, the application supports internal, USB and FireWire drives. It is a condition that there is enough space to store the contents of the Time Capsule on the destination drive. In addition, the drive's format must be HSF+.

All in all, TimePreserver Lite can help you archive Time Capsule easily and at no cost. However, it makes copies of all the contents of Time Capsule, which makes it not very efficient. In this respect, there is also a paid version, called TimePreserver, which is much faster because it only copies files that have been modified since the previous backup.
