A simple, visual timer

Tick! is a very simple, easy-to-use timer for Android phones.

Most Android phones come with a timer already installed and, many would argue, it does the job very well. If it’s not to your taste however, try Tick! It requires no configuration, can be set in matter of seconds, and is an attractively visual way of watching the minutes tick down.

You can set Tick! to vibrate or sound an alarm when your time is up, and the little Tick! icon displays in the Android notification bar. The timer counts down in minutes, and there doesn’t seem to be any limit to the time you can set. The only negative that we can see is that it keeps your phone awake while it is counting down, which seems wasteful for the longer countdowns.
