The Treasures of Mystery Island 2. The Gates of Fate is a puzzle game where your objective is to help the main character, Lisa, return to present time after she was sent to a different decade. The app brings you nicely-drawn graphics and a captivating storyline filled with numerous challenges.
You can create as many player profiles as you want, toggle fullscreen or windowed mode, and adjust sound effects and music volumes according to your needs. Furthermore, your gameplay progress is automatically saved after completing puzzles or starting to explore a new location.
Each new scene you explore brings you at least one puzzle. Your goal is to collect parts from various items or missing objects (which are listed at the bottom of the screen). Once you complete the puzzle, you receive a clue, a helpful item, and/or unlock a new location.
Another thing I like about this hidden object game is that it offers you plenty of useful hints. This feature comes in handy when you're stuck and can't find a solution for a riddle.
All in all, The Treasures of Mystery Island 2. The Gates of Fate is a fun and addictive puzzle game for Mac users of all ages that can keep you in front of your computer for hours.
