Get your Sims to bond in this family-centric DLC

The Sims™ 4 Growing Together Expansion Pack is a major content expansion pack of the popular life simulation game, The Sims 4. Developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts, this additional content features an expanded system on the base game’s family and social bonding system.

Released in response to The Sims 4’s update on infant Sims, The Sims™ 4 Growing Together Expansion Pack allows you to do more things with your baby Sims alongside their family — from having more play options with infants to forming special connections with other Sims. This expansion pack also comes with a new world.

What's included in The Sims 4 Growing Together?

The Sims 4 is the fourth installment in the best-selling The Sims franchise, first released in 2014. It’s the sequel to The Sims 3 and its base game eventually became free-to-play — with numerous expansion packs becoming its main source of monetization. Like before, The Sims 4 lets you create your own characters and their families or control premade ones. It also now lets you create and modify infants in the Create-a-Sim (CAS) menu.

The Sims™ 4 Growing Together DLC’s features:

A new world, San Sequoia, with three new neighborhoods: Anchorpoint Wharf, Gilbert Gardens, and Hopewell HillsNew Social and Family Dynamic systemsMilestones, which can unlock new TraitsNew Quirks for Infants and ToddlersNew Aspirations for ChildrenNew special DLC itemsInfant MilestonesThree new Social Events: Baby Shower, Family Reunion, and Slumber Party

In The Sims™ 4 Growing Together Expansion Pack, raising infants is even more detailed with a robust Milestone system. Reaching key events like crawling for the first time, for example, will unlock skills and eventraits for them. Even adult Sims can have these Milestones, like a career change or a mid-life crisis, and impact the relationships around them. The DLC gives you the option to tweak your Family Dynamics, too.

Family members can either be close or distant and socializing can be easier if two Sims have good compatibility. Lastly, you can enjoy all of these in the expansion pack’s urban ocean bay world, San Sequoia. It has three neighborhoods with a seaside town theme. Take note that this DLC will require the base game. It’ll also require a minimum of 26GB for storage and doesn’t support 32-bit systems.

A must-have for Sims 4 fans

All in all, The Sims™ 4 Growing Together Expansion Pack is a great DLC to have if you’re interested in focusing more on raising kiddie Sims and bringing your virtual family closer together. Not only does it include new social systems and Sim development features, but it also has new items, locations, and social events you can enjoy with your characters. Do take note of the system requirements for this game so you can enjoy it at its fullest.
