THE LONGING: A Cavernous Idle Adventure Game

THE LONGING is a unique idle adventure game that takes place in an underground kingdom. You play as the last servant of a king who has fallen asleep for 400 days to regain his powers. Your task is to stay in the cave and wait for the king to awaken. The game counts down the 400 days in real-time, even when you're not playing.

One of the main features of the game is building your own little home next to the king and furnishing it with items you find in the cave. You can also explore dangerous parts of the cave that the king warned you of, and try to get further and further away from your cozy vault. THE LONGING has handcrafted 2D graphics, dungeon synth music, and various endings to discover.
