The Image Converter is an easy-to-use application that offers to convert image files. Unlike most similar tools, the conversion isn't done locally, but on a cloud server. Therefore, using this program requires a stable Internet connection.
The application has a very simple interface. All you need to do is load the image file you wish to convert, select the output format, and enable the conversion. The output profile list includes up to sixteen image formats, but only half of them are available for free. The program lacks any Preferences, which may be both an advantage and a disadvantage. Inexperienced users may love it since they don't need to make any settings. Yet, I believe that most users would prefer to determine a favorite output folder, to set as default a favorite image format, and to resize the files for space preservation and fast upload. None of these are supported. Furthermore, you don't have any preview and you can't convert multiple files at once.
The tool is presented officially as a freeware. However, it is not free at all, considering that you can convert only one file without paying.
