The Goonies is a nice platform game in which you will visit different areas crowded with enemies that you need to avoid or kill if you don't want to lose your vitality. If the vitality bar gets empty, the game is over and you start from scratch. In every level, you will need to get keys that open doors that lead you to other parts of the game and also rescue people. You also should be careful because rocks and water may drop from the ceiling and this also reduces your vitality. Some enemies are stronger than others and they will produce more harm if they touch you. To defend yourself you can only punch them, but you don't have any weapons.
The game includes lots of power-ups and special items that you can collect to get more points and pass the levels more easily. You also get experience as you play, which helps you acquire special powers as you progress in the game. Graphics are simple but attractive, sounds are average, and the music is suitable.
