TextMan is an OCR text detection tool that can extract text from videos, PDFs, websites, and images. All you need to to is select the region of your screen in the same manner as you would take a screenshot and find all recognized text in your clipboard ready to get pasted anywhere. All processing is done locally and none of your data gets uploaded or shared. After the text is detected, you see a preview overlay where you can let it read aloud.
