TEC-IT TBarCode Office is an add-in that integrates seamlessly with your Word and Excel tools adding a new entry in their ribbons, from where you can insert any of its pre-configured barcodes – all of the highest quality and following the strictest standards – with just one click.
The add-ins install directly on your Word and Excel menus, requiring no additional settings or tweaks from the user. They will just appear as a new panel in the program’s ribbon, from where you can insert a new barcode, navigate to the developer’s site or ask for help. When you click on the “Insert Barcode” icon, a new panel opens on the right-hand side of the Word or Excel window where you will find all the settings you need to create and insert the new barcode – type, data (when required), size, etc.
This professional tool for high-quality barcodes includes all the most commonly used types – from standard linear barcodes (EAN, UPC, Code 39, Code 93, etc.) to 2D barcodes, such as QR codes, Data Matrices, Aztec Codes, or MaxiCodes. -Word Add-In: Enlarged bar codes during mail merge into New Document. The problem appeared in Word 2010/2013 compatibility mode when opening documents created with previous versions of Word.
-Flickering Bar Codes in Word 2013
-Word Add-In: Newly inserted bar code objects are drawn by Word over and over until all bar code properties have been set. Although this is by design of Word 2013 some enhancements in the Add-In were able to reduce this effect. Previous versions of Word do not have this problem.
-Disabled Design Mode
-Word Add-In: Reopening a document disables the bar code design mode (when clicking a bar code). It turned out that the problem is due to a bug in the .NET 4.0 VSTO runtime. The implemented workaround also fixes the missing design mode when dobule clicking a Word document or enabling/disabling the add-in through Word options.
