Synk is a useful application created to help you synchronize your most important files, which are stored across multiple locations. It does this by using both backup and synchronization techniques within a flexible and well designed interface.
The application provides users with a few templates that include the most common actions in the form of scripts: generic synchronization, generic mirrored backup, bootable backup, backup list of folders into folder.
Using Synk is quite straightforward just like most tools of its kind; define the source and destination folders and let the application do the rest. What makes Synk particularly appealing though is the ability to archive updated and deleted copies of files automatically, compress archived items and file filtering. For each backup or synchronization task, users can preview changes and resolve issues separately. It also includes a built-in scheduler that can activate a pre-defined script at a given time interval.
Overall, Synk makes for a solid and reliable application, aimed at all users in need of a backup solution.
