The Device Configuration Package (DCP) for MC9000c42 is used to customize and deploy software for a Symbol MC90xxc42 mobile computer running the Windows CE .NET software. It contains a Readme file, Product Reference Guides, the Terminal Configuration Manager (TCM2) program, sample TCM script files and the complete set of component files used to rebuild the default hex files. A DCP is a stand-alone tool that does not require other tools to install. More than one DCP can be installed on the same PC, allowing a developer to create and deploy applications for different versions of the same mobile device. A DCP cannot be used to create applications.
