SwordSoft Screenink is much more than a screen capture tool for Mac. Besides allowing you to take screenshots, this program also gives you access to various built-in utilities that help you make measurements on your desktop, identify color codes, zoom in on any area from your screen, and much more.
The program sits on your Menu Bar from where you can select the type of task you want to complete. Also, there's a small window available for those who wish to edit pictures or screenshots. You can add text content to your snapshots, trace lines, etc.
As you can see in its main menu, you can launch the built-in tools with certain combinations of keys. For instance, you can open the Magnifier by hitting the Option+5.
I like that you can also create your own images by tracing lines, adding text content or geometrical shapes to blank photos. Once you complete your work, you can export the image to your local directories.
My only problem with this application is the fact that it supports a limited amount of output formats (JPG, JPEG, PNG, and BMP). Other popular formats, such as GIF, TIFF or PDF, are not supported.
To sum things up, I think it's worth buying this little yet efficient utility for your Mac. It has plenty of useful features to offer, provides you with easy-to-configure settings, and comes with a fair price.
