Superstring is a Mac application that comes in handy if you intend to hold a karaoke party at your home. You can work with this desktop program to create videos containing the input songs and their correspondent lyrics, obviously synchronized.
The utility features a nicely-designed and intuitive interface, provides you with an integrated audio player, and offers you plenty of video and font style settings. What's more, this app can automatically find lyrics within the ID3 tags of the input files.
Another aspect I like about this program is that you can play the input songs as you write their correspondent lyrics. You can always pause and resume playback and adjust sound volume according to your needs.
Unfortunately, the app comes with two flaws: it supports one input format (MP3) and lets you save the resulted videos only as FLV or SML files (audiovisual presentation).
Still, the app is very easy to handle and offers a simple way to create lyrics videos. So, I'd say it's worth buying this utility for your Mac as long as the two aforementioned disadvantages don't mean much to you.
