SunsetsFree is a simple image editor designed to create electronic postcards for people you love. In addition, the tool offers to share your projects to popular social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr.
The interface is neat and intuitive, so that you can manage the program with ease. Yet, if you encounter difficulties in using the tool's functions, you can use the Help menu to get rid of all your doubts. Making a personalized postcard requires taking a few simple steps. First, you need to load one of your own pictures, either from your image library or one taken using your webcam. Then, you are supposed to select the sunset image you like most out of the four picture backgrounds provided by the app. The two images will combine smoothly, with nice blending and transparency effects. Next, you can add a text watermark which can be placed anywhere you want within the picture area simply by dragging it with your mouse. The text supports customization in terms of font style, size, and color, but it can't be rotated. You have the ability to add luminosity effects, increase or decrease the contrast, and zoom the background picture. The modifications will be shown in real time since the program provides you with before/after previews. Once you finished all the adjustments, you can save your project as a JPG image or you can upload it to Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr from within the application.
With a straightforward approach, the program is just plain simple and easy to use. It allows you to create nice electronic postcards with a personal touch.
