Sunset Riders is a shooting game with side scrolling originally launched for SNES and SEGA Genesis during the 90’s. The objective of the game is for players to collect the rewards for the wildest criminal during the times of the cowboys in the old West. This is a Windows re-launch for those who want to relive this great game.
Players will run though different stages including trains, with great game play similar to western movies where shooters fall off the roofs and ride horses. Players will require gaining items and helping people to power up as going through the communities.
2 players can play simultaneously as the levels scroll sideways, shoot the bad guys with the unlimited gun ammo and jump between floors and objects to takeout every enemy.
On the downside, the game, unlike other shooter games of the time like Contra, has only got 8 stages and when two players are present the one with most bounty rewards collected by shooting out the bad guys win in the end.
The game is now as it was in the 90’s; no improvements in graphics or anything else have been made, though it is also available for iPhone.
