Subtitle Extractor extracts the subtitles present in movie files and saves them as separate .srt files. The application can extract text-based subtitles, as well as image-based subtitles, irrespective of language. It is able to convert image-based subtitles present in DVDs and Blu-ray discs to text-based subtitles using the OCR technology.
