StrongRecovery is a program that lets you explore different storage devices to search for recoverable files. It has a graphic interface that is easy to use. You simply choose the drive you want to explore and click on Next, and the program will start getting information about the device. Then, it will make a deep scan to find any recoverable file. The time needed for the scanning will depend on the speed of your processor and on the size of the device, but in general, it is fast.

You can select the type(s) of the file(s) you want to search, for example, graphics, video, Office documents, and so on. Once the scanning is finished, you can search the file(s) you want to recover by name or type. Also, you can sort the recoverable files by name, date or type. An interesting feature is that graphic files such as photos or drawings show a thumbnail when selected so you can preview if any of those files is the one you are looking for.
