Stranded: Alien Dawn is a premium strategy game from Haemimont Games and Frontier Foundry. This simulates the conditions of an alien planet, tasking the players to thrive in a mix of survival and base-building elements. With the Robots and Guardians DLC, players meet a rebel faction of artificial lifeforms rescued by the galaxy’s first sentient android. Automate processes and develop larger and stronger machines as you defend your base from attacking robot enemies. This means new buildings, technologies, and defensive strategies made available to the player.

Aside from the premium DLC, existing players are treated to a free update that contains its own set of content, from gameplay changes to additional recipes. A major addition in this patch is the Delivery Drone, an automated companion designed to haul and deliver resources across your headquarters. Even better, you can now say goodbye to your bungalows and shift to multistory buildings.

Thinking outside of the box

Although some elements of Stranded: Alien Dawn are similar to classic tower defense platforms, such as Stronghold Kingdoms, the strategic nature of this game provides a nice twist. From salvaging fallen space debris to hunting down dangerous predators and ensuring that the survivors remain healthy, players should enjoy the multifaceted nature of Stranded: Alien Dawn.
