Storybook Sampler is a Mac application designed for children to give them access to various interactive stories. This program is also suitable for teachers who wish to make their classes more fun with the help of the activities presented by Storybook Sampler.
Every story is narrated with a pleasant, relaxing voice. You can interact with the book pages by clicking characters, objects from the scenes, and clicking the Next button once you wish to skip to the next sheet. Unfortunately, the app provides you with only one page per story. You will need to buy every book from the Mac App Store.
Storybook Sampler also gives you access to dozens of activity ideas for your classroom. For instance, you can learn how to organize the pupils in class, find information regarding which materials you need for drawing sessions, etc.
Personally, I am not very impressed by the quality of the artworks. Also, I don't like the fact that the app doesn't have games or other fun activities, it only offers suggestions.
However, you can find plenty of other Mac programs that provide you with dozens of storybooks and fun activities for children which don't require paying any cash.
