STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town is a game about farming and raising animals in a village. In the game, you start out with a small farm in the countryside, and tend to the various crops and animals, and even begin to fish in the nearby river. You also meet a variety of neighbors in the village, with whom you can exchange gifts and chat. You can meet many eligible bachelors and bachelorettes who are looking for love in Mineral Town. You will also have the chance to fall in love with one of them.
In order to tend to the crops and animals, you will need to get tools and fertilizer, which you can get from the store, but you won't be able to get any unless you can earn them by working on the farm. You will also be able to harvest, sell, and cook the vegetables and fruits you harvest.
