StockBuilder is a digital asset management tool for photographers. It falls into a category of applications known as image ingesters. Image ingesters perform the initial processing of your images. The most basic function of image ingesters is to copy your image files into their primary storage location and, optionally, to their backup storage locations. Initial processing can also involve providing metadata information, such as copyright and keywords, applying image adjustments such as saturation and contrast, and converting the images into a universal file format.
