Stellar Phoenix Excel Recovery is a very light utility with a sole purpose: help you recuperate those XLS files that Excel cannot open correctly anymore. Its graphic user interface could not be any more straightforward. In just a few very simple steps you can perform the whole recovery process. In fact, there is not much to do: all it takes is choosing the desired files and pressing a button.

Fortunately, the program supports batch recovery, which means that you can save some time by processing various corrupted Excel files in a single session. It is also good that it supports both XLS and XLSX extensions. Although it cannot repair files with complex mathematical formulas, this problem can be solved by installing a plugin. It is a pity that the demo version does not let you actually save the resulting files and all it allows is to preview the contents. Another possible operation is to save the operation logs.
