The chemical industry uses steam for a wide variety of purposes, the most important being process heating, drying or concentrating, steam cracking, and distillation.

A software tool for calculating the thermodynamic and transport properties of the steam feeds used in the chemical plants is absolutely necessary. Steam Calculator software has been developed in order to reach this goal.
