States and Territories of Australia is a simple geographical game. It could also be considered a memorization aid. It shows all the states and capitals of Australia and it can test your knowledge of them by asking you to select them on the map.
The main window shows the whole country of Australia, with its different states and the names of the oceans that surround the island. The states are Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.
At the top of the screen are two buttons that read "State" and "Capital". These are the "game" modes. For example, if you click on "State", a bar will appear at the bottom of the screen, which will ask you to click on the state that it names. By default, the states have their names on the map, so this mode is rather easy. But you can disable this by clicking on "Menu" and unchecking the option. The game can give you hints, but the hints are really the solution to the question.
All in all, this is a nice, free game, which might come handy if you need to memorize the states and capitals of Australia.
