This utility is designed to help protect Mac OS X users from a recently reported security vulnerability. It configures preferences to stop potentially dangerous AppleScript commands from being executed via web browsers or other applications using standard URL parsing conventions. It does not patch the operating system, but instead provides users with the option to set preferences themselves, as well as installing the RCDefaultApp preference pane from Rubicode.
