Startup Syringe is an application that helps you modify or create a system BootX file. For those interested in creating new boot images, the program will also extract the existing color table and boot image from your current BootX file. You'll need to read the instructions that explain how to assemble the raw image data and color data together and such, but the manual extraction from and insertion into the BootX file is no longer necessary.
