Star Wings is an exciting puzzle game where your goal is to guide a spaceship while avoiding collision with asteroids, alien vessels, etc. In each mission you need to maneuver your spacecraft to a destination point, collect as many points as you can on the route, and eliminate enemies if you can.
At the beginning of the first couple of missions you will receive various gameplay instructions. You will learn how to handle your ship and collect points.
After you complete a mission, you receive a certain amount of points based on the number of stars you collect on the route. You can use the points to acquire spaceship power-ups, upgrades, etc.
Personally, I was a bit disappointed by the fact that the app offers only 40 levels (take into consideration that you'd normally take a maximum of 3 minutes to complete a challenge). Another thing I didn't like was that I could play the game only in a full-screen mode.
Nevertheless, Star Wings offers you a fun way to spend your free time in front of your Mac. Plus, you don't have to pay a dime to install it on your computer. So, I'd say you should give it a try.
