This program provides you with a fun and easy way to study foreign languages on your Mac computer. The application brings a straightforward interface so any user would be able to handle it, offers you various word games, and helps you learn using flashcards.
In my testing I selected the French vocabulary and tried all built-in word games. My personal favorite was Vocabulary Trainer mostly because it includes text-to-speech features as well as images that help you learn words a lot easier.
I also enjoyed playing the Memory game. The board is filled with English words and their correspondent translations written in the language you selected. Your goal is to connect the matching words and clear the board as fast as you can.
The only aspect that bothers me about this language utility is that you need to make in-app purchases to gain access to all word games components (for unlimited number of words from each type of vocabulary). Nevertheless, the acquiring price for these features is quite cheap.
To conclude, I'd say it is worth trying this program when it comes to learning a new language. The integrated games can definitely help you improve your linguistic skills which might be of good use when making a trip in a foreign country.
