Star Defender 3 is a space shooting game for Windows. This story takes form after the 2nd part (Star Defender 2), where once again a battle vs the Insectus arouses. Only this time the human forces are weakened and not fully recovered from the previous fights. The game includes improved graphics and new weapons, new bosses and different levels.
Players will find a variety of new weapons at their disposal aside from the traditional missiles. The gameplay is excellent for players can choose to play with the keyboard or the mouse. The game has a top view where the space ship advances up and towards the enemies.
Star Defender 3 is entertaining! There are hundreds of different levels where the enemies have to be destroyed by using different weapons; the challenge resides in that not all aliens can be terminated with only one shot and present more difficulty to be destroyed showing their life level on top.
Though the game has many levels and many new additions, it doesn’t turn out to be that different from the previous version in terms of the gameplay. Even though its long, the game isn’t very hard. On the bright side the players can save the game and carry on later plus they'll find Windows VIsta compatibility and great looking graphics.
