Squeezer is an automated file compressor that utilizes the new HFS-compression technology found in Snow Leopard to reduce the size of configured folders. Mac OS can read these files as usual, but they will take up less space. To use Squeezer, simply select the folders to compress and the program will silently compress the files in the background, freeing up disk space. When accessing the files, Snow Leopard will read them like any other file in the system, but they will take up less room.
