The Polaris Challenge is a mountain bike score orienteering event and not based on a fixed route, you decide where to go! Over the event area there are a series of controls laid out. Each control has a value; Some have the value of zero so are not worth visiting, others have higher values if they are difficult to reach and there are many in-between.
