SplitFuse is a video splitter and merger for Mac OS X. This is a very nice app that lets you merge your videos together and split a single video into several different parts. It has very good format support and very simple interface. It can be used by users who don't know much about video editing, but it is robust enough that advanced users will have all the options that they need to customize the process to their liking.
The main window takes you to two different windows. The first one is the video splitter and the other is the video merger. I did my testing with the video splitter. I loaded an H.264 video and then I trimmed the video by setting a start point and end point. I saved the video to a MOV file. It played quite well and I didn't notice any audio/video sync problems. The other thing that I did was split the video into two parts of the same size. This also worked great. There are other options. For example, you can split videos in two parts by telling the app the length of your desired parts, or you can tell it to create as many equal parts as you want.
All in all, SplitFuse works very good and I thought it was pretty fast.
